In a domain network, you can manage your DC from a remote client PC by
accessing desktop of the DC on the client using Remote Desktop Connection. In
case, you don’t want to use Remote Desktop Connection, you can still manage
your DC remotely by installing Administrative tools on the client.

Adminpak.msi is a setup
program for installing Administrative tools in a computer. These tools will
allow us to administrate or manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS etc.

To install these tools:
1. Go to a client PC and access the c-drive of your DC by typing the command in the RUN:
\10.0.0.1c$
Where 10.0.0.1 is the ip of the DC.
2. Open Windows folder > system32 > click on
Adminpak.msi to install the Administrative tools.
